The Practicals

  • Who can attend?

    Anyone who is passionate about building church! We have no formal or academic entry requirements. So if you are keen to grow personally, develop as a leader and deepen your beliefs so as to be a better church builder, you are welcome to join us.

  • Dates

    Dates for the 2017-18 course will be released in March 2017.

  • Venue

    The venue for the 2017-18 Building Church Dynamics course will be released in January 2017.

  • Format

    Each Saturday consists of a varied range of inputs including material from all three Units of the core curriculum and one or more of the guest ministries.

    The packed programme starts at 09.30 and runs through to 16.00 on each Saturday.

    Coffee, tea, cold drinks and biscuits are provided in each break, as part of the programme. Lunch can be purchased from Postcode, the on-site Café, other nearby outlets or students can bring a packed lunch.

  • Graduation

    Students graduate with a Building Church Dynamics Certificate of Completion in recognition of their hard work. To gain the certificate students must have attended all ten Saturday schools (unless absences were agreed in advance), completed the assignment tasks and have paid their course fee in full.

  • Pastoral Support

    Students are encouraged to attend the Building Church Academy with the support of their local church pastor and to keep them informed of their progress.

  • Costs

    The Course Fee for 2016-17 is:

    • £590 if paid in full at the start
    • £620 if paid in instalments
    • Plus a £20 registration fee

    Payment options

    1. Payment in full at the commencement of the course £590
    2. A part payment of £290 at the start of the course (September) followed by six monthly payments of £55 per Saturday (October-March inclusive). Total payable £620

    The course fee includes all tuition, fees for DISC personality profiling, any resources given to students and drinks during breaks.

    In addition, a non-refundable registration fee of £20 is paid when you register your intention to attend.

  • How to register

    Please complete the online registration form and submit it with your £20 registration fee to the BCA office.

    You will receive a confirmation email giving more details about your course and direct contact details for more information should you require it.
